Does anyone know of a set of data showing how much ground elements of ground troops (platoons, companies, battalions, regiments, brigades, and divisions) were responsible for, as varied by time--that is, historically? I have the vague feeling that Trevor had such data in one or the other of his books, but most of my library is in storage and difficult to access right now.
