No, its ongoing. You should probably assume that I have been a little busy with work so have not had the time to respond. I'll get back to you later.

Anyhow, the book is proceeding slowly due to a lack of time to work on it. It bascially has been written, but is currently undergoing my final edit before I send it out for review. I was hoping to get a good run at it in July, August and September, but found myself sidetracked with new incoming projects.

I am still shooting to get the draft ready by the end of the year, but this really depends on how clear the month of October is.

After that, need to do up the graphics and then my publisher needs to do his stuff.

Right now, I am trying to finish up editing Chapter 12 of 30 and expect the editing to go much quicker once I get by Chapter 15 or so.

Regardless of the problems with my work schedule, if I am not finished by the end of the year, it will be finished in the couple of months after that. I am are running out of things I need to do to the book.

Thanks for the update! The evil seed of thought of cancellation creeped up my mind when a bookseller told me that the publisher had told about postponing the book indefinitely.

Do we have a chance to see the manuscript published as is, i.e. without much abridgment?

That's probably becuase I keep dragging it out. Still, it is coming and is nearing the final stages.

The last plan discussed with Westview Press is that they would issue out the complete book, and then I would edit down a second, much smaller book for the general reader. Is this way, "both" audiences are served.

Thanks for your interest.

Now.....back to work on the book
