I have been following this great board for some quite time and finally came to in a position when I would need your help.

I have a great interest in the 1. Infanterie Division, currently concetrating on its actions on the Eastern front from 1941 - 1945. The thing is that I have a problem on its operational history (maps included) of that period; when, where and so on. The book with the divisional history is a bit out of reach for me. I have searched the web over and out for info but came across very little info.

If anyone could help me with this I would be most thankful.

Another thing which I would also be very gratefull; if any of you could provide the list of the regimental commanders (1. Infantry Regiment,22. Infantry Regiment,43. Infantry Regiment) this division had and the dates the regiments changed names - if you posses the info of its other subunits I would be also very grateful.
