If one wanted to use the TNDM to analyse the engagement that occurred on the British larch to and back from Concord on 19 April 1775, what force postures might be appropriate? I considered that perhaps the British should be Attacker, since the were trying to advance through a contested area, and the rebel militia as Delaying, since they were trying obstruct their advance without attempting to hold specific terrain, but the fact that the majority of the British force wasn't engaged in combat made me wonder if that would be correct. Thoughts?
