Sorry, but it is restricted access to only those who have purchased the TNDM. Parts of it are presented in the "Attrition Handbook", which can be ordered from us.

Yes. The "Attrition Handbook" was an old HERO study that much of his Attrition book was drawn from.

Thanks I bought "Attrition book" from TDI yesterday. Do you know other books about war mathematic models (like Dupuy's "Numbers") from other organizations? Best Regards Vasiliy

1. I know of no other published books that provide details of how a specific combat model operates. In a sense, the QJM/TNDM are unique in that the average person can examine and critique it.2. Other organizations have issued reports over the years describing their combat models. They are scattered and sometimes difficult to locate. Many of these reports cannot be found outside of the "industry". 3. In general though, most of these reports do not describe exactly how a model works. I am currently going through a stack of documentation on one combat model currently in use, and am finding it extremely difficult to actually determine how it does ground combat, including what factors are included. Unlike the QJM/TNDM, many combat models are not transparent.

What about RAND's JICM model. I know that books "Ground Combat in the JICM" and "JICM 1.0 summary" exist?

If you can tell me exactly how ground combat is done in JICM from these sources, then I would be greatly enlightened. The second book you mentioned is sitting on my desk as we talk. Please, please, post up a detailed description of how combat is conducted in JICM, what factors are used, and how the actual fights are resolved.

I currently have a stack sitting next to my desk of seven RAND reports related to JICM/RSAS/RSAC/"Situational Force Scoring". I can't get there from here. If there is a RAND report that actually provides the details of how combat is conducted, including what factors are used and how they affect the outcome, I would love to get a copy of it. I do not think such a document exists.
